Well, Adrian actually told me about this anime. I've always been a fan of Clamp, whether it be Cardcaptor Sakura or xxxHolic, so I was glad to hear they wrote a mech anime. After watching only a few episodes I fell in love with it. I attached almost instantly to Kallen, a strong female character in the show. As for making the costume, Adrian bought me my red fabric and the brown I got for less than five dollars. I had to buy a lot of bias tape though, which wasn't bad until I bought single fold instead of double so I had to hand sew it all on. It was the perfect color...I couldn't pass it up. The costume without the wig cost me just over 20 bucks. Which is always my favorite part of cosplay...making the costumes as close as possible but as cheap as possible.
