It started as a sort-of joke and exploded from there. When I made this costume I was just really starting to get the hang of sewing. It took some time to figure out the hakama's but with the help on online turtorials and my grandmother success was found. I made everything but the captain's badge, I purchased that on eBay to save myself some time. I styled and cut the wig many times over the years, I've bought new ones, and still found my orginal to be my favorite. I even went as far as to make the shoes myself. I have a lot of love for this character and costume. Thanks to cosplaying this I met a ton of people I now consider my best friends. It also gave me the confidence to walk around in public in more revealing clothing...not that I make it a habit. I learned a lot while sewing it and obtained even more after I was through, so it's a costume I don't think I will ever regret making. Example art Example art 2 Example art 3
